What We’re Looking For

We're seeking a talented Business Project Manager Bid Writer who combines technical knowledge with a proven track record in managing projects and writing winning bids. You should be adept at leading cross-functional teams, navigating complex technical requirements, and crafting compelling bid proposals. An understanding of space and robotics will be a key advantage for this role. If you have a strategic mindset, strong writing abilities, and the drive to turn opportunities into successes, this role is for you.

Key Functions & Responsibilities

1. Project Management: Lead and oversee projects from initial planning through execution and delivery, ensuring alignment with technical and business objectives. Manage schedules, budgets, and resources, and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
2. Bid Writing: Identify, develop, and write compelling bid proposals for grants and contracts, leveraging your technical background to address requirements and highlight our strengths.
3. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with government, industry partners, and internal teams. Use these relationships to enhance bid proposals and project outcomes.
4. Risk Management: Anticipate, identify, and mitigate project risks, and manage issues to minimize their impact on project success.
5. Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback, assess project performance, and refine processes to improve future project execution and bid success rates.

Qualifications

Need

• Proven experience in project management, including leading technical projects from conception to completion.
• Demonstrated success in writing winning bids and securing contracts or funding.
• Technical background.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Wish

• Established network within the space and robotics industry.
• Knowledge of space-related and robotics.
• Familiarity with relevant government and commercial acquisition processes.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related technical field.
