We’re looking for talented individuals who share our mission to join us on our journey. Senken, the 2nd largest carbon removal marketplace worldwide in 2024, is now expanding our team to help drive a transformative shift in climate action. We need Business Development Representatives ready to dive into outreach and turn interest into impactful conversations. You’ll be supporting our VP of Revenue, Sabine Koch, and our CEO Adrian, in driving real opportunities for closing deals that make a difference.

As a Business Development Representative, you won’t just be another sales rep; you’ll be a key part of our mission to create real, transparent change in the climate sector. At Senken, transparency, collaboration, and urgency drive everything we do.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute outreach strategies that go beyond the basics—cold emails, LinkedIn engagement, phone calls, and even attending key industry events or conferences when needed.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Engage prospective clients and partners in a meaningful way, opening doors to conversations that will help accelerate the adoption of Senken’s solutions.
  • Constantly adapt your approach, learn from feedback, and bring insights back to the team to refine our processes.
  • Take over more and more responsibility for managing your own accounts. This role is focused on hunting but will grow into a generalist sales role from acquisition to customer success.

  • You bring 2-4 years of B2B sales experience and know how to manage diverse stakeholder needs, building strong relationships with ease.

  • You’re driven by the ambition to truly understand your customers' challenges. You’re not just after quick wins; you want to be a trusted, knowledgeable partner for your clients, diving deep into complex topics to find solutions that matter.
  • Transparency, measurability, and KPIs are central to how you operate—you believe that clear metrics pave the way for meaningful impact and continuous improvement.
  • You’re fluent in both German and English, enabling you to connect with a broader range of clients and team members.
  • Above all, you’re passionate about tackling climate change. You recognize it’s a huge challenge but believe wholeheartedly that meaningful change is possible—and you want to be part of it.

This role is budgeted at EUR 50-70,000 per annum, depending on the candidate's level of experience.
